Job Summary:

Administer nursing care in a clinic setting under the supervision of Clinic Director and/or other medical supervisor. Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing and coordinating patient care from admission to discharge in the clinic. Provides professional nursing care for Rural Health Clinic patients following established standards and practices. Takes patient history and performs initial physical evaluation of patient’s condition. Provides basic medical care, may be responsible for patient triage.

Educational Requirements

Minimum requirement of completion and graduation from approved LPN educational program. 

Requires a state license to practice
