Board Of Directors
- The Scotland County Memorial Hospital District established the Board of Directors and “is charged with the obligation and responsibility of operating and controlling the hospital.”
- The purpose and objective of the Board shall be to “maintain a hospital for the care of persons suffering illnesses or disabilities, which require the patients to receive inpatient or outpatient hospital care.”
- The Board of Directors meet monthly on the last Tuesday of the month at 5:30 pm in the Hospital Library, unless due to scheduling or holiday conflicts, in which case a notice is posted announcing the change of time, date or location.
- Board elections are held each year during the General election held in April.
- Each Director’s term is 6 years. The Directors must reside in the district they represent.
