Job Summary

Scotland County Hospital is seeking a dedicated autonomous Family Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care to our rural community clinic. In this role you will diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic illnesses while collaborating closely with a supportive supervising physician. You will be responsible for conducting physical exams, diagnose health issues, and create personalized treatment plans. Manage chronic conditions and acute episodic care. Provide patient education, preventative care, and wellness counseling. Maintain accurate, timely medical records using our electronic health records system 

Education Requirements

Master’s or Doctorate degree ibn Nursing (MSN or DNP)

Active unrestricted Missouri Nurse Practitioner license

Current board certification (FNP-BC or similar) BLS,ACLS

Preferred 2+ years of primary care experience. Rural Health experience is a major plus however new graduates with strong clinical rotations will be considered.
