Job Summary

The LPN works as a team member of the Med/Surg department. Under the general direction of the Med/Surg Supervisor, this position provides nursing care of patients during hospitalization, in support of medical care as directed by Medical Staff, within the scope of the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, and pursuant to objectives, goals, policies and philosophy of the nursing department and the hospital; focusing on patient satisfaction as well as fiscal responsibility.

Education/Qualification Requirements:

Current Missouri State License or Compact state as an LPN

Current Certification in BLS

IV Certification
