Job Summary:

The registered nurse works as a team member of the nursing department. Under the general direction of the Medical/Surgical Supervisor, this position provides patient care from admission to discharge on patients in various stages of life; focusing on patient satisfaction as well as fiscal responsibility. Serves as a team member or House Supervisor and when assigned has the delegated authority and responsibility to implement, coordinate and supervise nursing care for that shift, and throughout the facility as needed.

Individuals in this role are responsible for working with team members in a collaborative manner to care for patients and using department systems document all care with the expected outcome of meeting established organizational goals and departmental goals.

Education/Training Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Missouri or Compact State
• Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Current BLS certification
