Scotland County Hospital in Memphis, Missouri is teaming up with Blessing Health System in Quincy, Illinois to bring specialized care to residents of northeast Missouri. As of Monday, April 29, Blessing kidney specialist Dr. Justo Gonzalez will see patients at Scotland County Hospital once a month.

“We see a number of patients from the Scotland County region in our office in Quincy,” said Dr. Gonzalez. “To make getting this vital care easier for our northeast Missouri patients, Scotland County Hospital has invited me to see patients from the region at their facility once a month. Both our organizations recognize the importance of convenient access to high quality and safe healthcare.”

“I am always eager to form partnerships that bring specialists to us in Memphis, so our patients don’t have to travel so far for specialty treatments,” said Dr. Meagan Weber, CEO, Scotland County Hospital in Memphis.

Patients from the Scotland County region area with kidney issues should call the Blessing Nephrology Department at 217-214-6260 and ask for an appointment at Scotland County Hospital with Dr. Gonzalez.
