Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) Sonya See has joined Memphis Medical Services, working collaboratively with Kelsey Davis-Humes, in providing quality care to women, from early adolescence to advanced age. She will also provide care to some of Dr. Jeff Davis’ OB patients. Patients can schedule appointments with See for women’s wellness, family planning, STD treatment & screenings and routine OB care including pre-natal and postpartum, as well as primary care issues.
“I am very excited to be able to work in my hometown,” said See. “It is wonderful to provide in-depth women’s healthcare to the community that is very important to me. Women often sacrifice their own care for others in their family, and at times are unsure where to turn for help. I am here to provide that help to women of all ages.”
Ms. See is a native of Scotland County and a 1989 graduate of SCR-1. She earned a Bachelor’s in Nursing from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg. She was an OB nurse for nearly 20 years before earning her advanced practice nursing degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in May 2015.
Sonya is a tremendous asset to our women’s health team. Her years of OB experience coupled with her advanced practice nursing training in women’s health puts the clinic in a position that expands access to our already robust women’s health services
See has three children, Ian, Stevi & Zane. In her spare time she enjoys watching her kids play sports, watching Dallas Cowboys football, golfing & fishing. She is accepting patients at Memphis Medical Services.
