Job Summary

The Cardiac Rehabilitation Supervisor oversees the Cardiac Rehab Care Department and has accountability for compliance with regulatory and professional standards for patient care. Under the general direction of the Chief Nursing Officer this position will be responsible for the oversite of treatment of cardiac patients who are recovering from heart attacks, heart surgery, or trying to manage other cardiovascular conditions or disease. This position will be responsible for the care management staff that will focus on guiding the patients through a personalized exercise program, educating  them on lifestyle modifications, and monitoring their health to minimize the risk of future cardiac events all while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient recovery and quality of life. 

Education/Training Requirements

Registered Nurse in state of Missouri or compact state

Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Current BLS and ACLS certification

Preferred 3+ years of cardiology experience

Preferred prior supervisory experience
