Scotland County Hospital operates and owns four provider based rural health clinics: Memphis Medical Services, Lancaster Medical Services, Edina Medical Services and Wyaconda Medical Services.
Provider-based RHCs are owned and operated as an essential part of a hospital, nursing home, or home health agency participating in the Medicare program. RHCs operate under the licensure, governance, and professional supervision of that organization. Most provider-based RHCs are hospital-owned.
Memphis Medical Services is a rural health clinic designed to serve the healthcare needs of the local community. Providers at Memphis Medical see patients by walk-in or appointment Monday – Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Parking is available off of Watkins Street in Parking Lot B next to the Library/Conference area.
Lancaster Medical Services is a rural health clinic designed to serve the healthcare needs of the local community. Providers are Lancaster Medical Services see patient by walk-in or appointment Monday – Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Lancaster Medical Services is located just north of the US Highway 63 and 136 East turnoff on the east side of the roadway.
Edina Medical Services is a rural health clinic designed to serve the healthcare needs of the local community. Providers at Edina Medical Services see patients by walk-in or appointment Monday – Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Edina Medical Services is located approximately 1 mile East of Edina on Highway 6, across the highway from Knox County R-1 School in the former Jim Sears Technical Center.
Wyaconda Medical Services is a rural health clinic designed to serve the healthcare needs of the local community. Providers at Wyaconda Medical see patients by walk-in or appointment Mondays, Wednesdays, and Friday from 8:00am to 12:00pm 1pm to 5pm.
