Scotland County Hospital has nearly 80 licensed RN’s, LPN’s, and CNA’s. Educated, trained, and experienced professional nurses at Scotland County Hospital have the same goals: to provided the best patient care possible, by assessing patient needs, establishing a nursing plan, collaborating with medical staff, and helping to make each patients stay as comfortable as possible.
Today nursing is more diverse than ever before, and we truly have some of the most talented and diverse nursing professionals in our area. Scotland County Hospital that utilize the skills of a nurse; OR, Women’s Center, OB, ER, Cardiology, Cardiac Rehab, Cardio Pulmonary, Oncology, Urology, IV Infusion Center, physician clinics, etc. Our nursing staff at SCH has the ability to work in more than just one specialty area. A career in nursing allows a person to have many opportunities, changes, and challenges.
Nurses at SCH are not only trained in advanced care, they are instructors for such advanced training as Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and many other courses in order to be diversified and equipped to meet the needs of patients in a rural hospital.
