Celeste Miller-Parish, DO, is a general surgeon. She is a native of Scotland County, where she was reared on a farm near Arbela, MO. She went to medical school at A.T. Still University’s Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. She spent 15 years in New York City for training and early in her practice, then returned to Scotland County. During her residency & early practice, she was a major in the United States Army Reserve. While she served as an active duty soldier, she was stationed stateside.
Dr. Miller-Parish is Chief of Staff at Scotland County Hospital & Clinics and Medical Director of The Surgery Center and Wound Care Clinic. She has special interests in endoscopy for prevention of colon cancers and challenging wound care problems.
She and her husband live on a farm north of Memphis. Their daughter is married and has a little girl. Dr. Miller-Parish has little free time, but she enjoys gardening and canning, needlework and exploring new recipes with non-traditional ingredients, when time allows.
