Job Summary

This position will work as part of the Revenue Cycle Department to review and ensure the timely coding of medical records. Will manage assigned review and coding related claim edit work queues to ensure timely/accurate charge capture. Be able to identify all billable services. Consults and assists with providers as needed for documentation clarification for coding purposes. Identifies, enters and posts CPT-4 and ICD-10 codes to the electronic health record.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Professional license or certification as (RHIT,CPC,CCS or other qualifying body)

Prefer 2 years experience in medical coding
