Jayme Engelbrecht, FNP-C

Meet Jayme Engelbrecht, FNP-C. She is a new Family Nurse Practitioner at Scotland County Hospital & Clinics. She is accepting new patients of all ages at Memphis Medical Services. Jayme is a native of Kirksville. She started her nursing journey at Kirksville Area Vocational Technical School and earned an LPN degree. She completed her RN degree through Moberly Area Community College and her BSN through University of Missouri-Kansas City. She graduated with her advanced nursing degree from Walden University. She has special interests in women’s health and pediatric patients. She says she chose Scotland County Hospital because she has spent the last four years working in the Hospital’s Rural Health Clinics as an RN and she witnessed the impact that the clinics, providers, services and facilities can make in a rural community. She says she loves the idea of being able to provide a wide range of services to patients while they can stay close to home for their healthcare needs.

Jayme and her husband live in Edina with their children. Aside from her work, she enjoys being outside, spending time with family and reading a good book.
